C & M Construction is an established specialist construction
company with 10 years experience in Ground and Civil Engineering
works. Based in Steeple Bumpstead, Essex the group has two
regional offices in Bedfordshire and Essex.
The company has built a solid and loyal customer base underpinned
by the quality of service and attention to detail that has
set C & M apart from its competitors. At the heart of
the business ethos are the Environmental and Health and
Safety concerns surrounding each project. Every job is preceded
by a full Health and Safety audit including Risk Assessment
carried out by our in-house, qualified consultants. Each
project is also subject to continuously monitoring throughout.
C&M has grown largely by reputation, due to the quality

site supervision and project management, backed up by regular

Services
The company offers a wide range of Civil and Ground work
solutions ranging from maintenance and remedial works for
clients through to full life cycle projects including Foundations,
Road and Sewer works. C&M specialise in adoption works,
working closely with main contractors and local authorities
to ensure projects are delivered on time and to exact specifications.
The Company is an approved Sewer contractor for Anglian
Water and has completed many major projects with Thames
Water. C&M is registered with the CITB and with all
senior staff Road and Street Work Accredited.

Attention to detail and a consistent track record in achieving
targets set by clients, has ensured an enviable client portfolio
in Residential, Commercial and Industrial arenas including
Higgins Homes.
Plant
C & M Plant, a group company, has a wide range of heavy
plant to support the manned labour. With in excess of forty
Earth Moving Machines ranging from Excavators from ¾
tonne to 21 tonne and Loaders and Dump Trucks to 9 tonnes.
The company can also provide a wide range of compactors
and rollers for all size of works. All Plant is less than
3 years old and maintained to the highest standards.
